General Information

Is photography allowed?

Photography is permitted for personal use. To be considerate of fellow patrons and performers, please refrain from using the flash, recording full segments of the performance, or holding mobile devices above eye level during the show.

Is food and beverage allowed in Eden Park?

Yes, small amounts of homemade food for personal consumption will be permitted into the venue.

• Eden Park is a cashless venue. All food, beverage and merchandise purchases are card only. Please bring your card or Paywave enabled phone.

• A wide range of food options will be available, including child-friendly and vegetarian selections.

• The event is fully licensed. Wine, beer, cider, RTDs, soft drink and water will be available. BYO alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Sealed water bottles up to 1L in size will be permitted.

Weather and what to bring?

• In case of wet weather, please come prepared with a poncho or raincoat.  Small, retractable umbrellas are allowed inside the stadium, provided they don’t impede the view of other guests.

• Dedicated cloaking bays will be available at each public entrance for strollers, walkers and other small personal items.

How do I access my ticket?

• Mobile tickets can be accessed via the Ticketek New Zealand app (available on all app stores), or through the confirmation email you received at time of purchase.  Please ensure you log in with the same Ticketek account that you used to purchase your tickets. Tickets can then be found under the Tickets tab.

• We recommend adding your tickets to your phone wallet prior to arriving at Eden Park.

• Ensure your phone is fully charged, mobile data is turned on, and your mobile ticket is ready before arriving at the gates.

• If your phone is in dark mode, switch to light mode via Settings > Display for smoother scanning at the gate.

• EzyTickets may be printed or shown on your mobile device.

What time does the event start?

The event will start at 8:00 pm

What time do gates open?

Gates will open at 6:00 pm

Will there be an intermission?

Yes there will be an intermission.

Accessibility

Is there mobility access at Eden Park?

• Mobility entry is available via Gate E for patrons seated in the Samsung Stand, Gate D for the Kia Stand, or Gate C2 for the University of Auckland Stand.

• Lifts are available throughout the venue for access. Please speak to an event staff member for assistance.

Mobility parking is allocated via a ballot system. The ballot is now closed, and successful applicants will be contacted this week.

If you missed out, the drop off locations are within close proximity to the venue which can be used.

Is there support for patrons with visual impairments?

Yes, support for patrons with visual impairment is via Aira. Aira is an app that provides on-demand, remote visual interpreting services for the blind and low-vision community.

Simply download the app (AppStore or Google Play) to your mobile phone and tap the button to be connected to a trained visual interpreter. It’s simple and easy to use.

Is there free public transport for Seniors?

New Zealand residents over 65 years of age who have a SuperGold card are eligible for  free travel on most buses, trains and ferries:  

  • after 9am on weekdays  
  • all day on weekends 
  • all day on public holidays

What support is available for patrons with hidden disabilities?

If you or someone you are with has a hidden disability, you can wear a Hidden Disability Sunflower lanyard, pin or bracelet to discretely let our team know that you might like some extra assistance or care.

Eden Park is the first stadium in New Zealand to join the global Sunflower network.  The lanyards which are bright green in colour and decorated with an easily identifiable sunflower are completely voluntary and indicate to our team that you:

  • May need extra time to find your seat
  • Always need to stay with friends or family
  • May need to know the location of our sensory room and other stadium facilities

Please keep in mind that wearing a sunflower lanyard, pin or bracelet won’t help you get through our entry gates faster.

If you require a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard, these are available from all gates on an event day, and from Gate G on a non-event day. Please see this map for more information on where to collect your lanyard.

Does Eden Park offer a Quiet Room?

The Access Community Health Sensory Room, located on Level 3 of the Samsung South Stand, is a dedicated quiet space for people who love live events but find the experience overwhelming due to the heightened crowds and noise.

Are there accessible toilets and changing facilities?

There are a number of accessible toilets located around the stadium which can be found on this map.

Can I bring my assistance dog?

Assistance dogs are welcome at Eden Park. Please ensure your dog is appropriately identified, and inform the stadium in advance to accommodate seating arrangements.

Is there a drop-off/pick-up zone for accessible transport?

Dedicated pick-upand drop-off zones will operate on event days. Please plan your arrangementsbased on your gate entry:

  • Sandringham Road – for gates A, B, E and F
  • Cricket Avenue – for gates C, D, E and F

What public transport options are accessible?

Eden Park is centrally located and adjacent to key transport hubs including train stations and major bus routes. Tickets to most of our events include public transport fares, making getting to and from events easy. Is public transport free with my ticket?

Yes, Your event ticket includes free travel to and from Eden Park on     all scheduled public bus and train services.

Is accessible parking available at Eden Park?

For the event, there will be ample traffic wardens to assist with parking in the vicinity. Mobility parking will be located in Cricket Ave.

How can I see where accessible seating, amenities & access are?

How do I book Accessible Tickets?

Phone: Call Ticketek's Accessible Seating booking line (0800 686 677) if you require special access, wheelchair or accompanying guest seating. The booking line is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Wheelchair and companion seating at Eden Park are located in both the University of Auckland North Stand and Samsung South Stand. They offer fantastic views, easy access to retail catering and bathroom facilities, and a convenient seat for your friend or carer.

Merch

Will merchandise be available?

Official Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo merchandise and programmes will be available for purchase before and during the event.

Merchandise and programme stands will be located outside Eden Park near key entry points. Locations will include:

• Near Gates B, C and F

• Additional programme stands positioned near other operating gates, including Gates A, B, C (including C2), D, E, F, G and H

Exact locations will be clearly signposted on event days.

Merchandise will also be available at multiple locations throughout the venue, including:

• Inside Gate A & Gate E

• Pipes and Drums Lounge

• Samsung Stand, Level 3 Concourse

Programmes will be available for purchase at the stands located on Level 3 and programme sellers will move through seating areas to make purchasing easier for patrons.

All merchandise outlets at Eden Park are cashless. Payment can be made by card or Paywave-enabled devices.
